With the recent effort to encourage donations to the
Trust, some confusion has arisen regarding the deductibility for Federal
income tax purposes of such donations. Please be advised that
donations sent through our Trustwalla, Shelley Steiner, intended for the
"Firstly" part of the Trust, which includes stipends to the
two remaining beneficiaries, are not tax-deductible. However, if
you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to the Corpus of the Trust or
to the Development Fund, please make your check out to Meher Baba House,
indicate on the check whether it is for Corpus or Development, and mail
it to Don Eucker, 131 Sunrise Terrace, Cedar
Grove, NJ 07009. Don will forward the funds to the
Trust along with the name of the donor. |
